Raccoon State Recreation Area on US 36 in Parke County, will stage its annual fireworks show on Saturday, Sept. 4th. Events kick off at noon with games and contests in the beach area, and at 6 a Karaoke stage will be set up near the beach. The fireworks begin at dusk, co-sponsored by Raccoon SRA, Bellmore Volunteer Fire Department and the Raccoon Lake/Union Township Property Owners Association.
