Joe Skare

Joe Skare (12am-6am)

Joe grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, listening to the top 40 powerhouses like KDWB and WDGY, then the album rock pioneer KQRS. He also was influenced by late-night radio, listening to WLS from Chicago in its heyday. Joe knew as early as junior high school age that radio was the line of work he wanted to pursue, and feels lucky to have been able to do it for so long. Mostly working in the midwest, Joe has done morning stints at the legendary KFMQ in Lincoln, Nebraska (6 years); KATT in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (1 1/2 years); and back to Lincoln, where he spent several years as morning cohost on KTGL "92.9 The Eagle" (13 years). Joe has been with the WGN network since 2005, and began with WAXI in 2009.  He is married, with two children who keep him busy. Joe's interests are golf, softball, hiking, camping, playing the drums and anything to do with the Minnesota Twins or Vikings.

Scott Henderson

Scott Henderson (6am-10am)

By the time Scott Henderson was 11 years old, he knew he wanted to be on the radio. So it followed that his first job, just months after graduation, was in the mailroom of one of Detroit's three major AM-FM-TV companies owned by ABC. Within two years he was on the radio at another suburban Detroit radio station and he was on his way.

During the following forty years, Scott's career took him to many towns and cities around the Midwest including legendary WIRL in Peoria, and KMBZ and KFKF in Kansas City. It was here where he honed his musician skills in a Kansas City-area Blues band in the 1980's. He later landed in Omaha at historic WOW radio, then "family" became a priority when he steered his career to the family-friendly area in upper Michigan's vacation playground in the 1990's. Scott still hammers-away on the guitar and keyboards in an in-home studio when not wreaking havoc on the air.

Chuck was also part of a start-up satellite oldies network as Director of Affiliate Relations and an on-air announcer.
